Instructional Design DRAFT1 Document - ETEC-578

Introduction
The artifact attached is a document that was my first draft of my instructional design where I submitted this in the discussion for review by my peers. In my semester blog on this course, ETEC-578_ejournal blog, I was conflicted with my original topic for instructional design and I chose finally to complete my project on chemist.

Reflection
Reflecting on this learning experience and throughout this course, I learned to describe and define instruction and instructional design. I learned about designing an instructional product utilizing the steps of an instructional design model. I learned additionally about preparing and conducting a needs assessment, learner analysis, context analysis, and instructional analysis. Next, I learned about developing performance objectives, learning outcomes, assessment instruments, instructional strategies, materials, and evaluation methods. Next, I learned to collect and organize all designs throughout this process via journaling in my blog post each week of this course. As I learned through this course, I obtained and participated in peer evaluation and provided constructive feedback to other instructional designs, which were meaningful input and feedback as I progressed. Moving forward, I will continue to apply the above knowledge and skills in my future endeavors within the field I work in academia.
