Technology Evaluation Group Project - ETEC-527
Introduction
In our web 2.0 tools course, we were tasked with choosing five technologies that were web 2.0 tools to then evaluate them for pedagogical uses, considerations, security, and safety for example. We were placed into groups by Dr. B., and we began by choosing the tools we were each going to evaluate for this project. We decide on the technology tools and then we each describe the technology we chose. Next, we created an evaluation rubric for each of the technology tools we chose. We described these tools for use in education as web 2.0 tools. This project was completed using Google Docs where each of us in the group added to the originally started document for our group presentation.

Reflection
Reflecting on this group project, it was an interactive and engaging experience with the group of great educators that Dr. B. assigned the groups. I found this group of experienced educators to be fantastic to work with collaboratively and we engaged through the planning and document and the consistency of the work we were asked to complete for this project. Also, the web 2.0 technology tools that our group chose to work with were excellent technologies that could be easily and engagingly be added to the curriculum in the classrooms and we all worked very well together. This project by far was one of the best group projects that I worked with because there was truly no one left behind and we all actively interacted together and our project as a result flowed smoothly. This was a fantastic and meaningful learning experience with group members and the web 2.0 tools that were chosen individually to complete the project and I will remember moving forward in my future academic endeavors.
